Divine Order
Divine Order is a core Unity principle that emphasizes the idea that everything in the universe unfolds according to a higher, spiritual law. It reflects the idea that God’s perfect harmony is always at work, even when circumstances seem chaotic. Charles Fillmore often spoke of Divine Order as the natural alignment of life with spiritual truth—when we align our thoughts and actions with God, things fall into place.
Example of Divine Order in Unity Teachings:
"The infinite law of Divine Order is established in my life. I trust that all things work together for my highest good."
Divine Timing
While the Fillmores did not often use the phrase "Divine Timing," the concept is implied in their teachings on faith, patience, and spiritual unfoldment. It refers to the idea that things happen at the right moment, not always on human schedules but in alignment with higher wisdom. Myrtle Fillmore, in particular, encouraged people to trust in God's timing, especially in matters of healing and manifestation.
Example of Divine Timing in Unity Teachings:
"I release worry and trust that all things unfold in perfect Divine Timing."
Are They the Same?
Not exactly. Divine Order is about the structure and harmony of the universe, while Divine Timing is about trusting the process of when things unfold. However, they work together—when we trust in Divine Order, we naturally accept Divine Timing, knowing that everything is happening as it should.
